Fugitive accused of extortion case arrested

KATHMANDU: Police arrested 20-year-old Dipesh Gautam, resident of Jyamire, Chitwan Khairhani Municipality-1, who is absconding in the rape case, was apprehended by police on Monday evening.

He had fled after being involved in an extortion case and was apprehended in Kathmandu Kandaghari by police from the Central Bureau of Investigation Maharajgunj.

He has been sent to the district police office Ratnanagar Chitwan for necessary action.
