Madhesh: Saroj Yadav appointed as CM

KATHMANDU: Saroj Yadav was appointed as chief minister of Madhesh State with the support of 62 MPs, including two independents.

Yadav, the leader of the JSP’s state parliamentary party, presented the claim to state chief Harishankar Mishra while the government was in charge.

Following the submission of the claim, state chief Mishra appointed him as chief minister.
