Prachanda received 268 MPs’ votes of confidence, 2 votes against

KATHMANDU: The House of Representatives (HoR) has given Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal Prachanda a vote of confidence.

Only two members of Parliament voted against him.

In addition, it has been demonstrated that Prachanda has received enough votes of confidence to remain Prime Minister.

The meeting of Parliament on Tuesday was attended by 270 MPs. Five MPs who were not present.

Tek Bahadur Gurung, a NC MPs, was among those who did not attend parliament due to his suspension.
