Karnali CM Shahi’s 14-month achievement: 17 km of road black-topped

SURKHET: Karnali Chief Minister Jeevan Bahadur Shahi announced the achievements of his 435-day tenure on Tuesday.
He announced the accomplishment by saying that 17 kilometers of the road had been black-topped in one year.
He claims to have built 113 kilometers of gravel roads and 622 kilometers of unpaved roads. 13 suspension bridges and 8 road bridges have been completed during this time period. 1,571 public housing units and 101 low-income houses have been completed.
He stated that seven road projects have been advanced for multi-year contracts. A detailed feasibility study for the construction of an integrated administrative building has been completed, allowing state ministries and agencies to operate from the same location.
He said that the process of building construction has been started as a multi-year project.
