Let’s strengthen the state by correcting the shortcomings of yesterday: CM Karki
He emphasized that as the State's structure is linked to the delivery of services to citizens, everything should be done to make it effective.

BIRATNAGAR: Hikmat Kumar Karki, the Chief Minister of State 1, has said that looking at the shortcomings of the state, he will correct them. He stated that, as a result of yesterday’s shortcomings, the public should be informed about the incorrect comments made by citizens.
He emphasized that as the State’s structure is linked to the delivery of services to citizens, everything should be done to make it effective.
Addressing the second meeting of the State Assembly, Karki stated that a five-year periodic review of the State structure could be conducted, but it would be futile to spread rumors that it should be abolished.
Chief Minister Karki stated that he has been subjected to a great deal of criticism regarding the naming of the state, admitting that he was unable to pass the name as correct and was unable to give a new name.
He stated that as the State government’s priority is naming the State, it will be decided through a common agreement with all parties.
Giving details about the government’s plans for the coming days, he stated that there will be zero tolerance for bad governance and corruption through the minimum common program.
‘Tourism is another important priority,’ he said, adding that the government will move forward by giving high priority to important areas of tourism in the state where there are many religious and tourist snow chains.
He also stated that the agriculture, economic, and social transformation of the state are priorities.
