Thanking Deuba, Oli said – You have also joined the ruling party!

KATHMANDU: KP Sharma Oli, Chairperson of the CPN-UML and Leader of the Saddiya Party, has thanked Nepali Congress President Sher Bahadur Deuba for his decision to give Prime Minister Prachanda a vote of confidence.

He explained to the House of Representatives on Tuesday that the Nepali Congress has now become a supporter of the sub-government and the ruling party.

‘The RPP has also supported the government,’ Oli said, pointing to Deuba. ‘Congress has also supported the government,’ he added. It has begun to cooperate now that the government is no longer involved. ‘The ruling party was formed.’

Recalling that when forming the government in alliance with the Maoists, Deuba stipulated that the Congress would be given the Prime Ministership after two years, he stated, ‘Also, after two years, you should have voted for Prachanda as Prime Minister.

If there is nothing but sincerity in the support given by him to Congress, it has been welcome. ‘If this is a support net, it will be a net thrown in a hole where there is no fish,’ he said, ‘no fish will be found.’

He said that the Nepali Congress and Sher Bahadur Deuba himself also dissolved the parliament by saying that the parliament was dissolved for a new referendum in Nepal.
