NC to give a vote of confidence to Prachanda

KATHMANDU: The Nepali Congress will give Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal Prachanda a vote of confidence.

Prime Minister Prachanda is scheduled to ask for a vote of confidence in the House of Representatives (HoR) meeting on Tuesday at 1 p.m.

Before that, Congress President Sher Bahadur Deuba convened an office bearer meeting at his Dhumbarahi residence, attended by Krishna Sitaula, Prakashman Singh, and Dr. Shekhar Koirala.

President Deuba stated during the meeting that he will make the decision to give Prachanda a vote of confidence. He stated unequivocally that the party will make a decision regardless of the majority.

Along with Deuba, all of the establishment party’s leaders supported giving the Prime Minister a vote of confidence.
