Deuba said: ‘Give Prachanda a vote of confidence’
According to a leader who participated in the meeting, Sher Bahadur Deuba, Chairman of Nepali Congress, made such a proposal in the meeting of party officials.
KATHMANDU: Chairperson of Nepali Congress Sher Bahadur Deuba proposed to give vote of confidence to Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal Prachanda.
According to a leader who participated in the meeting, Sher Bahadur Deuba, Chairman of the Nepali Congress, made such a proposal in the meeting of party officials.
In a meeting held at his residence in Dhumbarahi on Tuesday morning, Deuba said that a vote of confidence should be given. But the leader said that there was no consensus among the Congress officials.
Speaking to Makalu Khabar, the leader said, ‘The chairman has proposed a vote of confidence. But we have demanded that the central committee should decide on this.’
He said that a meeting of the executive committee has been called now. Only after that meeting will we know what will happen.
