Bagmati CM Jamarkattel taking oath
Along with Chief Minister Salikram Jamarkattel, two ministers are taking oath.
KATHMANDU: Preparations have been made to form a small cabinet in Bagmati State today.
Two ministers are taking the oath of office alongside Chief Minister Salikram Jamarkattel.
According to Article 168 of Nepal’s Constitution, the Chief Minister of Jamarkattel State was appointed on Monday.
The state chief Yadav Chandra Sharma will administer the oath of office and secrecy to Jamarkattel, who has been appointed as the fourth chief minister of Bagmati State, at 9:30 a.m.
Preparations are being made for his inauguration at the state capital in Hetauda.
Jamarkattel, the leader of the Maoist Center Bagmati State Parliamentary Party, was appointed Chief Minister on Monday with the support of five parties.
He has the support of 70 MPs, including 21 from the Maoist Center, 27 from the UML, 13 from the RPP, seven from the Unified Socialist Party, and two from our Nepali Party.
