Sandeep Case: Evidence that the girl is not a minor

KATHMANDU: There is evidence that the Sandeep Lamichhane case victim is not a minor. The hospital has provided proof that the girl accused of being raped by Sandeep Lamichhane is not a minor.

The Narayani Hospital in Birgunj has provided proof that the girl was born in the year 2061. The evidence has been delivered to Kathmandu’s district court.

The court has heard a dispute over whether the date of birth of the girl who filed a complaint against Sandeep is 2061 Jestha 18 or 2062 Jestha 18.

Earlier in court, Sandeep’s attorney claimed that the girl was not a minor and demanded that evidence from the hospital where she was born be produced.
