Madhesh: Yadav unanimous elected as leader of JSP parliamentary party

JANAKPURDHAM: Saroj Kumar Yadav has been unanimously elected as the leader of the JSP parliamentary party.

As per the election schedule, Chief Minister Lal Babu Raut and MP Saroj Kumar Yadav filed their nominations for party leaders after failing to reach an agreement. But after the nomination, in the meeting held again, Raut supported Yadav and became the leader of a unanimous party.

Elected from Bara Constituency No. 1 (2), he is an outgoing speaker. He was elected from the then RJP in 2074. But after the unity of the party, Mahanth Thakur again separated, but Yadav remained in JSP.

Along with becoming the leader of the party, it is certain that he will become the Chief Minister of Madhesh.

The ruling parties have already agreed to give JSP the leadership of Madhesh for the first half term of 2 years and 6 months.
