KATHMANDU: Dr. Chandrakant Raut (CK Raut), Janamat Party Chair and Parliamentary Party Leader, has stated that standing and speaking in Parliament is a new experience for him. He said this while speaking to the House of Representatives for the first time.
He said – ‘Where once it was forbidden to even mention my name, today standing in that place and speaking is a new feeling. First of all, I would like to thank the democratic system and people’s opinion for providing this opportunity.’
He recalled his friends who had made sacrifices during the country’s construction. He also remembered the MPs from his constituency.
He paid tribute to the leaders’ efforts and sacrifices in establishing the Federal Democratic Republic.
He stated that because Nepal is a diverse country, federalism is critical to the country’s integrity.
He stated that the public opinion party has high regard for the democratic system and pledged to solve problems in the education, health, and agriculture sectors. He also wished the new parliament and treaties success.
