Khagraj’s claim for CM of Gandaki, backed by Deepak Manange
The alleged chief minister is a central member of the UML and the head of the organization department.
KATHMANDU: Khagraj Adhikari has submitted a claim for the Gandaki Chief Ministership, accompanied by the signatures of 33 MPs.
It has the support of 22 UML members, 8 Maoists, 2 RPP members, and Rajiv Gurung aka Deepak Manange of the Unified Socialist Party.
The alleged chief minister is a central member of the UML and the head of the organization department.
33 MPs arrived at the provincial head’s office to claim the position of Chief Minister. State Chief Prithviman Gurung Guru is set to appoint the Chief Minister today and administer the oath of office this evening.
MPs have said that Manange has unconditionally supported.
