We have got the vote of hope, we will investigate any corruption ruthlessly: Rabi Lamichhane
He urged everyone to work together to investigate corruption, find the perpetrators, and punish them.
KATHMANDU: Rabi Lamichhane, chairperson of the RSP and leader of the parliamentary party, as well as deputy prime minister and home minister, said the vote was a vote of hope. He said this while speaking to the House of Representatives for the first time.
He stated that they will not let the people’s vote of hope go to waste. He stated that he will work on good governance and public development issues.
He said that the new government will be able to conduct a ruthless investigation of corruption at any time and bring the perpetrators to justice using the minimum common program.
Keeping in mind the government’s priorities, he stated that he has already begun work in order to bring positive benefits to the common life of Nepalese from the ministry he is in charge of.
The leaders stated that there is a problem as they are mired in their own problems while attempting to solve the problems of the country and its people. He urged everyone to work together to investigate corruption, find the perpetrators, and punish them.
He stated that a political party does not form a faith alliance with another political party solely for the purpose of forming the government.
He also promised to continue sitting in inappropriate positions in order to fulfill his duties to himself and his party.
He also expressed hope that the government’s tenure will be a complete success.
