Khagraj Adhikari appointed as CM of Gandaki

KATHMANDU: Khagraj Adhikari of the UML has been appointed as Gandaki’s chief minister. With the signatures of 33 MPs, he submitted the claim to the Chief Minister.

After being appointed Chief Minister, he stated that the Gandaki Council of Ministers will be reduced in size.

According to sources, a cabinet of nine will be formed. Some ministers, including the Chief Minister, are expected to be sworn in today. Today, a cabinet of three to five members is expected to be formed.

Today, UML’s Roshan Gaha, Maoist’s Hari Chuman, and RPP’s Pancharam Gurung will take the oath of office alongside Chief Minister Khagraj Adhikari. Everyone will take the oath of minister without regard to the department.
