A gas cylinder exploded in Ram Prasad Thapaliya’s kitchen room in Balkot’s Suryabinayak Municipality 3 around 7 a.m. When the gas from the cylinder accumulated and suddenly exploded, it damaged the kitchen wall, glass, and the vehicle parked in the parking lot.
Tara Ghale Thapliya, Ram Prasad’s wife, was injured in the explosion. She was taken to Thimi Hospital for medical attention. DSP Raju Pandey, a spokesperson for the Bhaktapur police, stated that her condition is normal.
A team with a dog from the police complex Bhaktapur, the Nepali Army’s explosion monitoring unit, and the Nepal Police’s dog branch have arrived and begun the investigation.
