Madhesh: Raut & Yadav’s candidacy for leader of JSP parliamentary party
According to Lal Kishor Sah, the election committee's coordinator, only two candidates were nominated for party leader.

JANAKPURDHAM: Janata Samajwadi Party (JSP) Chief Minister Lal Babu Raut and outgoing speaker Saroj Kumar Yadav have filed their candidature for the parliamentary party in Madhes state.
Chief Minister Raut and outgoing Speaker Yadav registered their candidacy for party leader at the JSP party office in Janakpurdham. According to Lal Kishor Sah, the election committee’s coordinator, only two candidates were nominated for party leader.
Ram Ashish Yadav, another aspiring MP of the party’s leader, did not file his nomination papers. He backed outgoing Speaker Yadav, according to sources. In Madhesh State, the JSP has 16 MPs. Those who become party leaders will have the opportunity to become Chief Minister.
The ruling parties have agreed to give the Chief Minister of Madhesh State to the JSP in the first phase.
Voting will take place on Monday from 5 p.m. to 6 p.m., according to the published election schedule.
