Bus Accident: 3 Nepalis died, 17 injured

KATHMANDU: Four people, including three Nepalis, died in a road accident.

The ill-fated bus was heading to Lucknow from Gujarat.

The three Nepalis who died are from Kailali Tikapur, according to the Chief District Officer of Kailali, Kiran Thapa.

The deceased has been identified as 55-year-old Chandra Saud, 45-year-old Lalit Saud and 20-year-old Nirmala Bohara of Tikapur Municipality-1 died, said police.

An Indian driver was also killed in the accident. Another 17 people were injured.

The bus had an accident about 15 km away from Lucknow. The cause of the bus accident has yet to be determined.

For the past few days, India has experienced heavy rain and fog.

The Indian media has reported that travel is becoming more difficult due to poor visibility. It is thought to have been the cause of the accident.
