UML’s Hikmat Karki submits a claim for State 1 CM, support of 60 MPs

KATHMANDU: Hikmat Karki, the leader of the UML parliamentary party, has filed his candidacy for the post of Chief Minister of State 1.

He presented his claim to the state chief with the backing of 60 MPs.

He received the support of all 93 members of the State Assembly, with the exception of the Nepali Congress and the Unified Socialist Party.
