One dies after being swept away by river

KATHMANDU: A 33-year-old Tej BK, a resident of Pipalla village, Dipayal Silagadi Municipality-4, died on Saturday afternoon after being swept away by the river while taking a bath near the concrete bridge of the Seti river at the same place.

As soon as the news was received that he was swept away by the river while bathing, the police stationed from Dipayal, district police office, rescued him in an unconscious state about 200 meters away from the incident site and sent him to Shaileshwori Hospital Pipalla for treatment, where he died during treatment.

The police are investigating further in this regard.
