Prachanda’s desire to create a model tenure
Asserting that his third term will be a model, he further said, 'During my first term, the roadmap of a new Nepal was presented.
KATHMANDU: Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal ‘Prachanda’ has promised that the government will work to instill hope in the people. He describes his third term as a challenging opportunity.
‘The third term is a challenging opportunity for me. We should be able to make full use of it. I am conscious of not doing a single bad thing and not allowing it to be done,” said Prachanda, “the whole country is looking at us with hope. We must all be serious and responsible to address that hope of the people.’
Asserting that his third term will be a model, he further said, ‘During my first term, the roadmap of a new Nepal was presented.
The seeds of development and prosperity were planted. Emphasis was placed on waiving the debts of the people, including farmers, and establishing social justice.
In the second term, good initiatives were taken for the implementation of the constitution, economic prosperity, and laying the foundations of federalism.
The third term should be modeled after that. Therefore, the government will work with social justice, good governance and prosperity at the center.’
The Prime Minister also said that the government is serious about issuing the Federal Education Act. “Even during the tenure of the previous government, some works of the Federal Education Act have been done.
However, the Act was not issued, Prime Minister Prachanda said, ‘This time bringing the Federal Education Act is the priority of the government. After issuing this Act, most of the problems related to the education sector and teachers will be addressed.
