LSP holding a meeting of Central Executive Committee

KATHMANDU: The Loktantrik Samajbadi Party (LSP) is holding a meeting of its Central Executive Committee.

At 1 p.m., a meeting will be held at the party’s central office in Babar Mahal.

The meeting will decide whether or not to give the current government a vote of confidence. According to reports, the most recent political developments will also be discussed.

LSP has not backed the government since the old alliance fell apart and a new power equation emerged.

Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal, also known as Prachanda, is preparing to face a vote of confidence on Jan 10.
