KATHMANDU: The draft working group formed to prepare the government’s minimum common program is meeting.

The working group, chaired by UML and Deputy Prime Minister and Finance Minister Bishnu Paudel, will meet shortly.

The ruling coalition is preparing to finalize the government’s minimum common program on Friday.

There will be a discussion on the draft prepared by including the suggestions of various political parties participating in the government. Although it was stated that the issue would be resolved on Thursday, it was pushed back after the leader of the Maoist center, Barsaman, became ill again.

The draft will be prepared based on the recommendations of the power partner parties.

The working group is chaired by Deputy Prime Minister and Finance Minister Bishnu Paudel, but there is no representation from the Janamat Party or Nagarik Unmukti Party, despite the fact that there are seven parties in the ruling coalition.
