JB Rana called an all-party meeting

KATHMANDU: An all-party meeting is being held today.

Pashapatishumsher JB Rana, the senior member of the House of Representatives, has called an all-party meeting today to set the agenda for the House’s first meeting.

The Parliament will hold its first meeting on Jan 9.

The meeting, scheduled for 1 p.m., has been called for party whips and parliamentary party representatives. Independent legislators have also been invited to attend the meeting.

The meeting will cover topics such as the speaker’s election, preparations for the government’s vote of confidence, and the president’s address.
