Nepal T20 league controversy: ICC representative in Nepal
The ICC team, which arrived in Nepal on Wednesday evening, met with National Sports Council (NSC) Member Secretary Tanklal Ghisingh in the afternoon.

KATHMANDU: The ICC representative, who came to understand the controversy and developments in the ongoing Nepal T20 League in Kathmandu, met the Member Secretary of the National Sports Council, Tanklal Ghising, on Thursday.
The ICC team, which arrived in Nepal on Wednesday evening, met with National Sports Council (NSC) Member Secretary Tanklal Ghisingh in the afternoon.
Earlier, the team went directly from the airport to the Tribhuvan University cricket ground in Kirtipur. Following that, he met with representatives from the participating teams and obtained the necessary reports. During the meeting, the team met with the Anti-Corruption Unit (SU), the umpire, and the tournament players.
According to CAN sources, the team also met with the Central Investigation Bureau (CIB) of Nepal Police, which investigated the cricket tournament.
The ICC sent a two-member team to Nepal after the discussion about match-fixing and ‘spot-fixing’ activities in the Nepal T-20 League came to the media.
Following the emergence of the dispute, the NSC formed a five-member investigation task force led by Ekendra Bahadur Kunwar, a member of the council’s executive committee, to investigate the truth/facts and submit a report to the council within 15 days.
