Properties worth ‘ 7 lakh destroyed in fire
The fire did not result in any casualties.
KATHMANDU: A fire broke out in the scrap godown at Dhobighat in Lalitpur, causing a loss of worth 7 lakh rupees.
At 10:30 a.m. on Thursday, a fire broke out in the Kawadi godown run by Indian citizen Krishna Kodar in Lalitpur Metropolitan Municipality’s Ward No. 3 Dhobighat Corridor.
According to Prabin Pokharel, a spokesperson for the Lalitpur Police Complex, the fire caused 7 lakh in damage.
He stated that the fire was extinguished within two hours of being notified.
The police initially suspect that an electrical short caused the fire.
The fire did not result in any casualties.
