27 extremely good schools in State 1 been awarded
The Ministry encouraged and honored 27 community schools by organizing a program in Biratnagar that directed public schools towards secondary school 14 and 13 basic schools.

KATHMANDU: The best 27 community schools have been encouraged and recognized by the State 1 Ministry of Social Development.
The Ministry encouraged and honored 27 community schools by organizing a program in Biratnagar that directed public schools towards secondary school 14 and 13 basic schools.
According to Basudev Dahal, Secretary of the Ministry of Social Development of State 1, community secondary schools and basic schools with excellent management based on various indicators have been recognized with incentives.
Secretary Dahal emphasized that there is a teacher shortage in public schools, stating that far fewer teachers have passed the Teachers Service Commission than is required. He stated that the goal of this program was to transfer the best practices of community schools to other schools.
Among the secondary schools that are encouraged and honored in State 1 are Bhanujan Secondary School, Taplejung, Phidim Secondary School, Panchthar, Bhanubhakta Secondary School, Ilam, Dhulabari Secondary School, Jhapa, Pokhariya Secondary School, Biratnagar, Janata Secondary School, Sunsari, Bhanu Secondary School, Dandabazar Dhankuta, Basanta Secondary School, Basantapur, Tehrathum. Similarly, Birendra Secondary School, Bhojpur, Manakamana Ratna Ambika Secondary School, Sankhuwasabha, Kedar Secondary School, Solukhumbu, Baruneshwor Secondary School Ramupur, Okhaldhunga, Janajagriti Secondary School, Khotang, Janata Secondary School Hadiya, Udayapur have been awarded. These schools have received certificates at the rate of 14 lakh 50 thousand with cash to all schools.
Towards Basic Schools that are awarded are Himalaya Basic School, Taplejung, Tribhuvan Basic School, Panchthar, Bhawani Basic School, Ilam, Garamkali Basic School, Jhapa, Rabi Basic School, Morang, Jaldevi Basic School, Sunsari, Jankalyan Basic School, Dhankuta, Saraswati Basic School, Tehrathum, Janasewa Basic School, Bhojpur, Laxmi Basic School, Sankhuwasabha, Basuki Basic School, Solukhumbu, Jalpa Basic School, Khotang and Udayapur were honored with incentives for people-oriented basic schools, Krishna Prasad Pokharel, spokesperson of the Ministry of Social Development informed. Basic schools have received incentive amount of 9 lakh 75 thousand in cash.
On the same occasion, 3 community schools presented a working paper with the condition of the school. Pokhariya Secondary School, Janajagruti Secondary School and Garamkali Basic School, Haldiwari presented the basis for the school to be good.
Chief Minister of State 1 Rajendra Kumar Rai said that the current education is not based on skills. He claimed that educational institutions established by the private sector are incapable of producing good citizens. ‘Private educational institutions have produced machine humans, he said, and people like machines can’t do anything for society,’ he said. He emphasized the importance of viewing education as multi-dimensional.
He claims that public schools have done the work of creating those who don’t know, while private schools have done the work of teaching only those who know. He stated that there is no reason to be prejudiced as public schools are inadequate.
Rajan Rai, State 1 Social Development Minister, stated that education should be improved. He insisted that the current situation was fine and that he should leave. Rai stated that schools that perform well are recognized with incentives through budgetary provisions.
The program was attended by Minister of State for Social Development Bishnu Tumbahamphe, Secretaries of all Ministries of State 1 1, Deputy Secretary Head of the Education Branch at the local level, and Heads of the Education Development and Coordination Unit.
