KATHMANDU: Tarebhir Tourism Festival, which is held annually in Kathmandu’s Gaekarneshwor Municipality, will hold its ninth edition on Magh 1 and 2 (Jan 15 & 16).

The festival began on 2071 Magh 1 (15 Jan 2015) in Tarebhir, which is considered the administrative center of Gokarneshwor Municipality.

This festival is being held to promote the Shivapuri mountain range, which is located in the northern part of Kathmandu Valley. According to the organizer, it will be held for two days this time.

Tarebhir is located in the lap of Shivpuri hill, on the border of Gokarneshwor and Budhanilkantha Municipalities.

The ninth series of Tarebhir Festival, which began on 2071 Magh 1 (15 Jan 2015) for the promotion and promotion of culture, nature, and local products, is nearing completion.
