We will make a traffic improvement action plan ASAP: Minister Shrestha
Minister Shrestha, who reached for monitoring after the office hours started in the morning, went to the Ekantakuna, Thulobharyang and Gurjudhara transport offices and listened to the complaints of the service users.
KATHMANDU: Narayan Kaji Shrestha, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Physical Infrastructure and Transport at the Transport Office, conducted an on-site inspection.
Minister Shrestha, who reached for monitoring after the office hours started in the morning, went to the Ekantakuna, Thulobharyang and Gurjudhara transport offices and listened to the complaints of the service users.
He has announced that Union and State Ministries will sit together and come up with an action plan to improve the transport system.
Minister Shrestha, speaking to the media after the monitoring of the Big Transport Office, informed that the federal government will immediately start work on how to improve the transport system and is discussing with the state government for this.
He said, ‘After studying the current problems and weaknesses, we are preparing an intervention action plan to provide services to the people in an accessible manner. We will make a traffic improvement action plan as soon as possible after conducting an on-site study.’
