KATHMANDU: German club Hoffenheim has signed Danish forward Kasper Dolberg on loan.
Hoffenheim reported that Kasper was signed from the French club Nice.
The French club has also offered the 25-year-old forward a permanent contract. He will wear the number 19 jersey in Hoffenheim.
Dolberg joined Sevilla last September with an option to purchase for 20 million euros ($21m) but the 25-year-old failed to make the cut at the struggling Spanish club.
Last season, Kasper was on loan from the Spanish club Sevilla.
He appeared in four Sevilla games. He scored 11 goals in 40 games for Denmark.
Welcome to Hoffe, Kasper!

Hoffenheim have confirmed the agreement to bring him to Germany until the end of the season, with a non-binding purchase clause included.
Dolberg is the second high-profile player to leave Sevilla as 2022 becomes 2023, with Spanish international Isco’s contract controversially terminated by the club as Sevilla slips into the La Liga relegation zone.
