KATHMANDU: The police have arrested four people who escaped after hitting Khukri in Nepalgunj. Anurag Shah of Ward No. 12, Ujwal Shah of Janki Rural Municipality-3 and Subham Jung Shah of Nepalgunj-4 were attacked by khukuri (machete with a distinct recurve in its blade) at on Sunday afternoon in Nepalgunj Sub-Metropolitan City-4 Ganeshpur.

Tulsiram Sunar identified as 29-year-old Binay Bhandari of Nepalganj Sub-Metropolitan City-18, 31-year-old Prakash Thapa of Ward No. 6, 31-year-old Narayan Dangi of Rapti Sonari Rural Municipality-2 and 29-year-old Prakash Rasaili of Baijanath Rural Municipality-5 have been arrested by the police.

The car they were driving was discovered in a field on the south side of the road from Bankatti to Rampuruwa in Banke’s Dudhuwa Rural Municipality-3.

A team from District Police Office Banke led by Superintendent of Police Santosh Singh Rathore transported the injured to Nepalgunj Medical College for treatment.

The police discovered two khukuri used by them in the bush.
