Ncell slashes PAYG voice call rate
Ncell Axiata Limited reduced the tariff for local calls on Sunday.
KATHMANDU: Customers can now make voice calls from their main balance at a lower cost.
Ncell Axiata Limited reduced the tariff for local calls on Sunday, standardizing the per-minute rate to a flat Rs. 1.62 excluding taxes for calls made on any network in the country.
This new Pay As You Go (PAYG) voice service rate went into effect today (Sunday, Jan 01, 2023). Prior to this reduction, Ncell charged Rs. 1.99 per minute to any local network, excluding applicable taxes.
Customers will be able to make local on-net and off-net calls at Rs. 2.05 per minute including applicable taxes, down from Rs. 2.52 per minute previously.
According to Ncell, the new flat call rate adds significant value to customers’ ability to stay connected by allowing them to benefit from longer on-net and off-net voice calls without the need for a package.
