CPN-S leaders are of opinion that they should not join government now: Leader Tuladhar
He said that the leaders held this view in the 14th meeting of the party standing committee which started on Saturday.
KATHMANDU: CPN (Unified Socialists Party leader Gangalal Tuladhar has said that the party leaders are of the opinion that he should not participate in the government right now.
He said that the leaders held this view in the 14th meeting of the party standing committee which started on Saturday.
According to him, 30 members have spoken in the meeting so far. He has given his views on the current political alignment, government coalition, joining the government, party integration and party reorganization campaign.
At present, when nationalism is in crisis and the issue of people’s livelihood is becoming weak, the leaders of the party have raised the issue. He said that this alliance was formed in a dramatic manner and this is a Khichdi government. He said that there is no point in supporting the government or joining the government if there is no dynamic proposal from Prachanda or the coalition.
However, since the government was formed under the leadership of Prachanda, who was in their coalition yesterday, the leaders are of the opinion that the support given to the government will come when it is needed.
He said that the leaders have talked about not going to the government now. He said that rumors of party unification or participation in the CPN-S government are being spread by UML leaders.
