In Pics: Inauguration event at PIA

KATHMANDU: Pokhara’s international airport has opened.

The airport was inaugurated on Sunday by Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal Prachanda.

The airport was built with a 25% grant and a 75% loan from the Chinese government.

The opening ceremony was attended by Nepali government ministers, the Chief Minister of Gandaki State, Chinese government representatives, Civil Aviation Authority employees, members of the general public, and representatives.
