KATHMANDU: Hari Bahadur Chuman has been unanimously elected as the parliamentary party’s leader in Gandaki by the CPN Maoist Centre. Chuman was re-elected as the party’s leader for a second term.
Chuman was the party’s leader even before that. In Gandaki, Krishna Dhital was also looking for a party leader.
However, Chuman was unanimous. He has been advocating that the Chief Minister of Gandaki be a Maoist.
The Maoists have eight MPs here. Chuman was chosen from Tanahun 1 (B).
