Pushpa Case: Sudhan Sangraula in custody for trial

KATHMANDU: Sudhan Sangraula has been jailed in the Pushpa Neupane death case in the case of abetment to suicide.

The District Court of Kathmandu has ordered Sudhan Sangraula to be detained pending trial in the case of Pushpa Neupane of Baneshwor’s self-immolation.

Neupane immolated herself in front of Sangraula’s house in Dhumbarahi after the engagement was canceled after they agreed to marry.

After hearing the case, District Court Kathmandu Judge Narayan Prasad Parajuli sentenced Sudhan to prison on Thursday.
