Kamal Thapa wins veteran tennis title

KATHMANDU: Kamal Thapa has won the Pokhara Veterans Tennis Championship.

He defeated Bidur Bista in straight sets in the final of the 19th Machhapuchhre Bank Open and Veterans Tennis Tournament, which was organized by the Kaski District Tennis Association.

Thapa, a former Deputy Prime Minister, won the competition at the Pokhara Stadium tennis court on Friday by defeating Bista 4-1, 4-0.
