BIRATNAGAR: The election of the leader of the Nepali Congress parliamentary party produced an exciting result.

Uddhav Thapa was elected as the state president of the Nepali Congress after three candidates were nominated. He received 18 votes and was elected. The Sitaula line is led by Thapa Krishna Prasad.

Similarly, Amrit Aryal, who is close to Sher Bahadur Deuba and joined the provincial assembly after Deuba promised to make him chief minister, has not received support from his own faction. He has been kicked out of the group.

As a result of the election of the leader of the parliamentary party, Aryal, who had always desired to come to power, was not voted for by one of his own proponents and supporters. Aryal received only two votes in the Nepali Congress, which has 29 State Assembly members.

Congressmen called Aryal’s candidacy a decision of impulse. Only Aryal and one other person have voted, one of the supporters and one of the opponents. Ramesh Jung Rayamajhi, Gyanendra Karki, and others have not assisted Aryal.

Aryal’s proposer was Dolma Tamang, and her supporter was Sunita Kumari Gurung Ram. Aryal is an important party member. He was the only central member among the candidates for parliamentary party leader. Thapa is the state president, and Kedar Karki is the central member who was defeated.

Internal Affairs and Law Minister Kedar Karki, who has joined the Koirala group, has received 9 votes. Nepali Congress leaders have stated that their faction assisted him.
