Uddhav Thapa elected as leader of NC Parliamentary Party

BIRATNAGAR: Uddhav Thapa has been elected as the State 1 Nepali Congress Parliamentary Party’s leader. With 18 votes, Thapa was elected.

Nepali Congress state president Uddhav Thapa, central members Amrit Aryal and Kedar Karki were in the contest.

Bhupendra Rai supported Thapa’s nomination of Bhim Parajuli as the parliamentary party’s leader.

Home Affairs and Law Minister Kedar Karki received 9 votes, while Aryal received only 2 votes. The state’s 29 legislators voted.
