Ananta honored with ‘Best National Football Player’

KATHMANDU: Ananta Tamang, the Nepali national football team’s defender, has been named the best national football player in 2079.

Ananta was awarded the best national football player award by Sahara Club Pokhara on Thursday at Pokhara Stadium.

Ananta was honored at the Aaha Rara Pokhara Gold Cup football opening ceremony.

Ananta received a certificate worth 50 thousand 5 rupees.

Every year, Sahara honors one member of the national team.

Bharat Khawas, Kiran Chemjong, Sujal Shrestha, Abhishek Rijal, and Anjan Bista were previously honored.
