Yamalal Kandel elected as leader of CPN UML Karnali State PR

KATHMANDU: Yamalal Kandel has been elected unopposed as the leader of Karnali State Parliamentary Party (PR) from CPN-UML.
The state committee meeting of CPN-UML held today elected him as the leader of the party.
He is an elected Member of Parliament from Surkhet and a CPN-UML standing committee member and provincial in-charge.
Binod Kumar Shah of Dailekh also showed his aspirations for the leader of the parliamentary party.
When he withdrew, Kandel was unanimous.
