2 arrested with stolen motorcycle

KATHMANDU: The traffic officers arrested two people from Bouddha on Tuesday, Dec 27, along with a stolen motorcycle.

Karan Bomjan, 23, of Jhurjhure Rural Municipality-4, Makwanpur, & currently staying in Jorpati, Kathmandu, and Nabin Lopchan, 26 from Bagmati Rural Municipality-4, Makwanpur, and currently staying in Gothatar, Kathmandu.

The police arrested the two people along with the motorcycle when the actual number plate was changed from State 3-02-009 P 4909 to Bagmati State 02-021 P 8388.

Rajendra Prasad Bhatta, spokesman for the Valley Traffic Police Office in Kathmandu, has confirmed that the motorcycle stolen from Jorpati in Kathmandu was registered in the name of Kamal Shrestha.

The two people arrested along with the motorcycle have been taken into custody by Police Circle Buddh for further investigation and action.
