Woman dies after truck plunges into river

KATHMANDU: Kalpana Nepal Khatri, 48, a resident of the Sundarijal Chilaune, died on the spot on Tuesday evening when an Eicher (Ba 5 Kha 7309) truck loaded with cement went out of control and plunged into the Daunde river about 3 meters below the road at Sundarijal Chilaune, Gokarneshwor Municipality-1.

In addition, three people, including the driver of the vehicle, who were injured in the accident have been transported to Nepal Medical College Attarkhel for treatment.
