KATHMANDU: Three major earthquake shocks were felt in Nepal’s Baglung district on Wednesday night, according to the National Earthquake Measurement and Research Center.

According to the center’s readings, an earthquake of 4.7 magnitude occurred at 1:23 a.m. last night in the vicinity of Adhikarichaur in the Baglung district. ‘On 13/09/2079 at 1:23 PM, an earthquake of 4.7 Ml occurred in the vicinity of Adhikarichaur in Baglung district,’ the Center wrote in a tweet.
After that, the center made a second tweet, stating that the second earthquake of magnitude 5.3 on Rector’s scale occurred at Khunga in Baglung district at 2:07 last night. In a third tweet at around four o’clock on Wednesday morning, the Center said that an earthquake of magnitude 4 occurred in Baglung’s Adhikarichaur.
There has been no statement on the extent of the damage caused by the earthquake. An earthquake of magnitude 3.1, on the other hand, occurred at 2:24 p.m. in Uttarkashi, Uttarakhand, India.
