KATHMANDU: Vivek Oberoi, an Indian actor, has congratulated newly elected Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal, also known as Prachanda.
He shared an Instagram photo with Prachanda and congratulated him on becoming Nepal’s Prime Minister.
‘Congratulations, Comrade Prachanda,’ he wrote alongside the photo. For being elected as Sundar Nepal’s Prime Minister for the third time. It was a pleasure to meet you recently. Nepal’s humility and cultural compassion are reflected in your warm love and welcome to us.’
Oberoi arrived in Khumaltar on Dec 15 to meet Prachanda, who was on a 10-day visit to Nepal to promote tourism.
After visiting Pashupatinath, Oberoi and his family also visited Chandragiri, Pokhara, Bhairawa, and Lumbini during their trip to Nepal. Oberoi arrived in Nepal on Dec 14 and left on Dec 24.
