KATHMANDU: The seven-party new power coalition is about to hold a meeting.

A meeting of seven parties that backed Pushpa Kamal Dahal, also known as Prachanda, the Prime Minister, has been called.

The meeting at Parliament House New Baneshwor is being attended by the Maoist Center, CPN-UML, RSP, RPP, JSP, Janamat Party, and Nagarik Unmukti Party.

The meeting will include a discussion of the minister.

The leaders of all parties are currently en route to the meeting location.

Prachanda was appointed Prime Minister on Sunday by 169 MPs from seven parties and three independents. Prachanda and some ministers will take the oath of office and secrecy today at four o’clock in the afternoon.
