Triveni Cup football tournament to begin from Dec 13

KATHMANDU: The 30th Triveni Cup football tournament will kick off in Besisahar, Lamjung on Dec 28.

The competition, according to organizer Triveni Youth Club, will begin on Dec 28.

The tournament will begin with a match between the host Triveni Youth Club and Buddha Youth Club Bhotewodar.

The winner of the competition, which will be held at Sahaji Sports Ground, will receive 5 lakh, while the runner-up will receive 3 lakh, according to organizer Triveni Youth Club.

Similarly, the losing team in the semi-finals will receive a 50/50 split of the prize money.

The top scorer and best player will each receive 15,000 points.

The Buddha Yuva Club won the 29th Triveni Cup football tournament.
