KATHMANDU: Congress leader Bimalendra Nidhi reached in Khumaltar in the morning after entering Balkot at night.
Nidhi reached in Khumaltar this morning after visiting Balkot as a special envoy of Prime Minister and Congress President Sher Bahadur Deuba.
After failing to reach an agreement on the power coalition, Deuba dispatched Nidhi to Balkot to meet with UML chairperson KP Sharma Oli last night.

The discussion in Balkot was not disclosed by any of the parties. Prachanda is asking Nidhi in Khumaltar to support him as Prime Minister in the first phase for a discussion with Chairperson of the Maoist Center Pushpa Kamal Dahal ‘Prachanda’ in the morning.
After Nidhi stated that the Congress should not relinquish both the positions of Prime Minister and President, Prachanda responded that they would leave the coalition.
Nidhi urged Prachanda to keep the alliance going. Prachanda responded that joining the alliance is not required to give the Congress the Prime Minister and President.
