Basnet, the founder of Buddha Air, died

KATHMANDU: Surendra Bahadur Basnet, the founder of Buddha Air, died.

Basnet, the founder and CEO of Buddha Air, died on Sunday at the age of 95.

At the age of 70, he established Buddha Air to connect Nepal and Nepalis through air service.

According to Buddha Air, the Basnet’s death has resulted in the loss of a good parent.

Basnet was born in Salma, Dingla, and Bhojpur and studied MA LLLB at Banaras Hindu University before holding various high positions in Nepal’s government and playing a leadership role for the country.
