Leader Nepal discharged from hospital

KATHMANDU: Madhav Kumar, Chairperson of CPN (Unified Socialists Party), has been discharged from Nepal Hospital.

Dr. Santa Kumar Das, who is involved in his treatment, reported that Nepal’s leader, who is being treated at the Tribhuvan University Teaching Hospital Maharajgunj, was discharged on Friday after his health improved.

According to him, leader Nepal no longer has a fever, does not require oxygen while breathing, and is eating well.

Leader Nepal, also a former Prime Minister, was admitted to the hospital on Dec 20 due to pneumonia.

After his health improved, Leader Nepal attended the swearing-in ceremony at the parliament building in New Baneshwor on Thursday, Dec 22, as well as the power alliance meeting at the Prime Minister’s residence in Baluwatar that evening.
